Position: Office Assistant & Accounting

Location: San Jose

Hourly Rate: $24 per hour

Benefits: Vacation, Sick Pay, Health Insurance.

Hours: Up to 60 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Office Assistant:
Provide administrative support to the office team.
Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and redirect calls as necessary.
Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating service calls.
Maintain office supplies and ensure the office is organized and tidy.
Assist with data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed.

Accounting:
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
Reconcile financial statements and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Maintain accurate records and files for financial transactions.
Assist with payroll processing and other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration or accounting preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus.
